Kevin Von Erich vs. Abdullah the Butcher Seen it. Lance Von Erich vs. Matt Borne This was a really great match that told a simple story about determination and focus. Lance gave one of his best performances here. His work on Borne's arm was good. I liked how Borne kept finding or trying to find ways to fight him off, and I liked how Lance kept going right back to it. Similarly, when Borne took control after that sweet looking hotshot, he laid a nice beating on Lance, but Lance hung in there and kept trying to fight back, before making that great escape of the camel clutch and turning it into a hotshot of his own. I can see why shoe was a little down on the finish, and it wasn't great, but it made some sense in the context of the match. Both guys were really determined and focused the whole time. Matt drops the Bombs Away/Whoopie Cushion on Lance, but in typical heel fashion, gets too cocky and doesn't finish him off right there, and he pays for it. Why he instead tried to finish off the way he did (jackknife hold without the hold, if that makes any sense), I don't know, but I see what they were going for. Either way, I second the nomination. Brian Adias vs. Crusher Yurkov JIP and EIP. What's shown is good. Brian Adias vs. Crusher Yurkov And we immediately get the exact same match in full. Interesting programming decision. This was, in fact, really good, albeit short of a nomination. Mike/Fritz Interview Creeeeeeepyyyyyyyy.... Mark & Chris Youngblood vs. The Batten Twins This could've been better.
