Posted May 3, 201015 yr comment_5450386 Another surprisingly entertaining effort from the Yatsu/Nakano pairing. I'm digging Nakano as a guy who gets his ass kicked only to fire back with more imapctful offense than you might expect. Shit, his enzuigiri looked a lot better than Tenryu's. This was also my first look at the newly formed Tenryu/Hara team and they certainly brought out the surly, violent bastard in one another. I didn't have high expectations based on the listing, but I kept looking up and thinking, "Damn, they're beating the shit out fo each other." Again, Tenryu won a little casually for my taste. But this is another one that you guys should at least watch. All Japan Classics 149
September 9, 201015 yr comment_5455487 Revolution (Ashura Hara & Genichiro Tenryu) vs. Shinichi Nakano & Yoshiaki Yatsu (6/9/87) THE REVOLUTION IS ALIVE and they are total asskickers here with Nakano being an awesome opponent for them. Nakano fires back as usual and is hitting just as hard as the vets which was awesome. Yatsu also is feeling it and we get some good stuff out of him as well. Hara was rejuvenated with Tenryu and you can tell it immediately as he was glad to get away from Rusher & Goro. Like I said this had a lot of hard hitting action with both teams looking good especially Nakano who Budokan was loving here. Tenryu would finish off Nakano with a powerbomb again and this moves forward easily.
October 20, 201015 yr comment_5457469 Tenryu/Hara vs. Yatsu/Nakano, 6/9/87 (AJC 149) - Tenryu picks up where he left off and Hara joins in on focusing on Nakano’s arm. Yatsu comes in for the save and tries to keep Tenryu grounded by attacking the leg. If they could maintain this focus on body parts, I would be pleased. When Hara is in ,they work over the back and chest. All good. Eventually, when the teams start trading big moves, they get away from the body parts and move to the my turn-your turn stretch run with the big saves. Solid match good enough for a nomination but not one of the best tags we will see on the set.
