(taped 6.10.88) 2 - Shoehi Baba/Hiroshi Wajima vs. Tiger Jeet Singh/Jimmy Jack Funk - Why oh why did they book this? Better yet, why did anyone put it on a show purporting to display "classics"? (taped 4.19.88) 3 - Bruiser Brody vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (International Title) - They worked holds for much of the match which isn't what you want to see from these guys. Once they started trading high-impact stuff, the atmosphere picked up. Brody dominated for most of the stretch run until Jumbo caught him with a superplex and followed quickly with the backdrop suplex to win back his title. Jumbo and the crowd treated it as a big deal, but the end run wasn't remarkable enough to salvage the dull first 2/3. No vote.
