I was excited for the Stardust talk because I had no idea what pop reference they'd get. if any.

Bryan went for NES' Pro Wrestling Starman and then Dave said NO NO NO, it's Dusty Rhodes' nickname Stardust. Bryan made sure to point out that he had gloves like AJ Styles. No mention of Bowie. No mention of A Clockwork Orange. No thought that this will lead to a split.

That's a palm-to-the-face slip from Meltz. "Likely"?

Did he follow-it up about the 20th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman's deaths "likely" at the hands of OJ Simpson?

Or that the sky is "likely" blue?

That quote has me legit laughing.

Not speaking the truth for fear of the reaction would be a poor reflection on Dave's integrity and I'm not willing to go that far.

He definitely deserves criticism, but I would suspect he said it without putting much thought into it. He has a tendency to do this lately, like when he said both sides had valid points and probably felt they were right when asked about Montreal on the Steve Austin Show, completely contradicting years of his own reporting on that topic.
