1. Battle Royal (01/03/90)

2. Abdullah the Butcher/Tiger Jeet Singh v. Terry Gordy/Bill Irwin (12/06/89) - The crowd treated Abby and Singh as major babyfaces, chanting Singh's name every time he landed a shot and freaking the fuck out when Abby did his goofy karate poses. Irwin contributed his normal crazy bumping routine. I actually enjoyed this but it didn't go long enough or build enough for a nomination. Singh turned on Abby at the end.

3. Dynamite Kid/Davey Boy Smith v. Dan Kroffat / Doug Furnas (12/06/89) - This wasn't about hate or isolating one guy; it was about pure athletic one upsmanship. My press slam is cooler than your leaping dropkick. My snap suplex is more badass than your spinkicks. Actually, it made for a pretty sensible cap to the mini-feud between these teams. But I disliked the abrupt ending and thought the six-man tag I nominated from a few weeks earlier had cooler spots. So I'm going to go no, though if you guys take a look and decide differently, I wouldn't be shocked.

4. Shoehi Baba/Rusher Kimura v. Kawada/Fuyuki (12/06/89) - Another enjoyable but unremarkable tag. Kawada and Fuyuki tried to make their bones by chopping down the boss, but of course, Baba could bring them to their knees with a single, slow-motion chop. It was a cool dynamic, but the match only lasted seven or eight minutes. No nomination.
