Posted May 26, 201015 yr comment_5451317 Jumbo Tsuruta/Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Ashura Hara/Samson Fuyuki (9:58) Yes, it’s only 10 minutes, but what a fun 10 minutes this was. Hara has become one of my absolute favorites on this set as he’s looked good playing the lower totem pole guy on the team, and looked good here playing the veteran of the team. Fuyuki was super fired up and not chubby (like in FMW years later) and gets a couple of GREAT 2 counts against Jumbo. I’m not so jaded that I actually bought the first one. This was a really fun, well-worked tag. It MIGHT not be enough to nominate, but I'm gonna do it. NOMINATE! (AJ TV 10/31/87 Special & 11/7/87, DVD #24)
July 16, 201015 yr comment_5453188 I liked the little stretch at the end between Jumbo and Fuyuki but didn't see anything memorable in the first eight minutes or so. It was a fine match but not something that will stand up to the tag-team competition on this set. No vote.
September 21, 201015 yr comment_5456058 I am with Childs on this one. I didn't even like this as much as the Tenta match i just struck down. Might have to throw this in the Eric's Extras pile. Might not even make the cut for THAT set.
