Posted May 26, 201015 yr comment_5451319 McAdam 2141 Disc 2 Kerry Von Erich vs. One Man Gang (Parade of Champions) - Gary Hart is handcuffed to Fritz. Early on, Gang dominates and gets Kerry in the bearhug but Kerry fights for a claw. Pretty sweet as Kerry hits three discus punches in order to finally get the big man off his feet. Then Kerry jumps on his back with a sleeper. Gang kills my good vibe with an extended chinlock. Kerry tries to fight out of it but there seems to more action going on with Fritz and Hart than in the ring. Just when they start picking up momentum in the ring, the camera will break away to Hart and Fritz missing several moves in the process. Really freaking annoying. Gang goes for a falling headbutt/splash, misses and Kerry gets the pin. Man, I don’t think should go on the set. Entertaining match but I remember these two guys having a really great match. This isn’t it. After the match, Gary Hart gets his head shaved and that was freaking a classic angle. EXTRA One Man Gang vs. Kabuki - One Man Gang is selling the Kabuki strikes… a little too comical but I am ok with it. However, when Gang pummels Kabuki, it looks like he is mauling the little guy. Kabuki’s fall to the outside look contrived. Gang tried to drop Kabuki on the steps and it looked awkward as well when Kabuki was rolling down them. These guys need to lose the pros and worry about beating the shit out of each other. Kabuki’s comeback was pretty great including a sweet enziguiri and a thrust kick that sends Gang over the top. Kabuki then proceeds to choke the hell out of Gary Hart. Not as strong as the Oliver Ft Worth clip of David vs. Missing Link. Just intros and post match shown. Kerry Von Erich vs. Gino Hernandez - Mainly worked out of an armbar and jockeying for position early on. Nothing state of the art but Kerry going for the mask adds another dimension. I like how Kerry continues to go for the mask and Gino finds a way to escape. OH WTF?????? Match cuts out in the middle. Son of a bitch. Some clips from other territories. Man, fuck these Ft. Worth teases. Brian Adias vs. Jim Powers - Nothing actively bad but I am still pissed off. Fuck this match. Gary Hart, One Man Gang & Killer Tim Brooks Interview Chris Adams vs. Kabuki (Dallas) - Early on, both men teasing the power of the kick. Adams capitalizes first with an enziguiri. Kabuki hits a thrust kick and works a headlock. Adams escapes and clamps on the head scissors. Both guys battle and work in and out of these two holds. It picks up with Adams missing a flying body press and Kabuki teasing the kick. He hits a thrust kick that sends Adams over the top rope. The angle protected the move a bit because it seemed like Adams jumped a fraction too soon. Adams turns the table shortly after and throws Kabuki out on the table. Then when Kabuki tries to go back into the ring, he superkicks him back outside. This brawling portion of the match is really fun. The stretch run was super hot with Adams chasing Sunshine only to be met with a Kabuki thrust kick for the loss. The first few minutes were solid but unremarkable. After the flying body press, this was HOT! Nomination.
