Posted May 26, 201015 yr comment_5451320 McAdam 2141 Disc 3 Kerry & Kevin Von Erich Interview (Reunion Arena) Gino Hernandez Interview (Reunion Arena) Jim Powers Interview (Reunion Arena) Scott Casey vs. Jack Victory - Really fun match early on with Casey hitting some nice offense and Victory Bumping and cheating proper. Nice back and forth but criminally short as Casey puts it away with a backslide. The Fantastics vs. Rip Oliver & Kelly Kiniski - Typical hot Fantastics open with Oliver and Kiniski selling and bumping like champs. Something I noticed was that when Kiniski was working over Rogers, he never hit any offense close to his side of the ring. This allowed Rogers to get a relatively easy tag. This was sort of sloppy after Mark Lowrance broke away during the match for a promo. Weird. Fans get the win after a sunset flip double team. Eh, fun match but no nomination. Chris Adams Interview Iceman King Parsons Interview Sunshine Interview Dynamic Duo vs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich (Reunion Arena) - If the Von Erichs win, they get to destroy Gino’s corvette. If the Duo wins, they choose the stipulation of the next match. Nice spot right away as Gino jumps over the top rope to get Kevin to break an armbar but Kevin yanks him back in the ring. Von Erichs go for some early pin attempts. They really want to destroy that car. Adams hits a nice back body drop to turn the tide. Gino slows it down with a front face lock. Adams continues the punishment with a sleeper. Damn, Adams with a plancha!!!! Inside, Kevin has Gino pinned but the referee is on the outside trying to break up Kerry and Adams. They weren’t legal anyway. Oh shit, Manning gets his head tangled in the ropes and the 4 wrestlers are battling away. While Manning is being attended to, Gino throws powder in Kevin’s eyes, and sets Kerry up for a SWEET Adams superkick for the pin. This was some wanton wacky shit here. I think I may have liked the Kerry/Kabuki match better but this is a nomination. Jim Cornette vs. Sunshine - Before this can start, Chris Adams comes in and he is a mess. Of course, Cornette does a short promo but then it cuts off. Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski - Just a bunch of clips. - The end has Kiniski winning when Jimmy Garvin knocks Adams leg off the rope. Jimmy Garvin + Chris Adams Confrontation Michael Hayes & Buddy Roberts vs. Iceman King Parsons & Buck Zumhofe - Bleh. I kept looking at the clock hoping the match would end. Ric Flair Promo / Von Erichs Interview Chris Adams & David Von Erich vs. Jimmy Garvin & Michael Hayes (Penalty Box Match) (Fort Worth) - Adams and David abuse Hayes as Garvin gets locked in the cage early. I love the way Hayes reaches out for a tag with no one there. OH shit, one of the sweetest superkicks in history as Garvin gets leap frogged, springs off the ropes and meets foot. Then we get a big old clip. Hopefully, we have this match complete somewhere. Jim Garvin vs. Kerry Von Erich (Ft. Worth) – Clip job Midnight Express Squash Scott Casey vs. Kelly Kiniski - I liked the Victory match better. After the match, MX and Cornette attack Casey but he fights them off and keeps the green jacket.
