4. Kerry + Kevin Von Erich vs Chris Adams + Gino Hernandez - Ft Worth

This is JIP about 2 minutes in. This is another incredible match between the 4.Kerry was great in his FIP role. The Duo was like a pack of wolves getting the heat. The Tope' from Adams onto Kerry was sweet, and then the wrestlers continue fighting even when they were tangled in the crowd ropes. The ref bump that Manning took was 5*. I wonder if we have this in full? A nomination to be sure.

Again, I read through match descriptions and this didn't seem to be any of the other matches.

Dynamic Duo vs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich (Reunion Arena)

- If the Von Erichs win, they get to destroy Gino’s corvette. If the Duo wins, they choose the stipulation of the next match. Nice spot right away as Gino jumps over the top rope to get Kevin to break an armbar but Kevin yanks him back in the ring. Von Erichs go for some early pin attempts. They really want to destroy that car. Adams hits a nice back body drop to turn the tide. Gino slows it down with a front face lock. Adams continues the punishment with a sleeper. Damn, Adams with a plancha!!!! Inside, Kevin has Gino pinned but the referee is on the outside trying to break up Kerry and Adams. They weren’t legal anyway. Oh shit, Manning gets his head tangled in the ropes and the 4 wrestlers are battling away. While Manning is being attended to, Gino throws powder in Kevin’s eyes, and sets Kerry up for a SWEET Adams superkick for the pin. This was some wanton wacky shit here. I think I may have liked the Kerry/Kabuki match better but this is a nomination

Kevin & Kerry Von Erich vs. Dynamic Duo (Anything Goes)

- Really awesome start with both teams getting nearfalls and breaking up pins. It slowed down in the middle with some sleepers but then Kerry got thrown out on the floor and these guys picked up the violence. Adams and Kerry are in the zone in this match. Really, Gino and Kevin have just been props in the Kerry-Adams war. As the match progresses, Manning gets hit and ends up in the ropes Cactus style. Of course, this is a great match with Hazard making the pin after Kerry gets the powder and they do the assisted superkick on Kevin.

Gino's Red Corvette vs. Duo Picks the Stip for Future Match: The Dynamic Duo ("Gentleman" Chris Adams & "Handsome Halfbreed" Gino Hernandez) vs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich (7/4/85)

Kerry & Kevin come out with a chain and a hatchet ready to bash in Gino's Corvette. David Manning lets us know before the match that this match has no rules. The story here is that both teams take turns beating on each other while getting tremendous heat breaking out cool stuff like Adams' tope suicida on Kerry & David Manning getting his head caught in the ropes with everyone that wasn't a wrestler trying to get him free. Gino would break out some powder on Kevin then held Kerry for a great Superkick by Adams with Rick Hazzard making the count of 3. Will may be right in that the Kabuki/Kerry match may have been better but this was more epic and is a slam dunk nomination.

I'm certain I had already seen the finish to this match before. It is a pretty spectacular finish, but the body of the match is nothing to sneeze at, either. Kevin coming to the ring with a hatchet was awesome. I second the nomination.
