Brody and Gang fight each other after the match. Kerry Von Erich Interview Johnny Mantel Interview David Manning Interview Rick Rude vs. Iceman Parsons (Fort Worth) - 1st fall, starts off with Rude giving a strength demonstration and letting Iceman apply the Full Nelson and Rude breaks up twice. Oof, Iceman gives a shitty hip toss. A lot of bullshit early on with Rude playing chickenshit and Percy Pringle getting involved. Iceman works an armbar but nothing really exciting going on. However, Rude turns the tide and starts attacking the back. No better way to get brownie points with me than working on a body part. Rude works the bearhug and abdominal stretch which the color guy calls an anatomical stretch. Iceman makes the big comeback and wins the first fall with the butt bump. - 2nd fall, Rude goes back to the back after being stunned in the 1st round. This time, he works in the camel clutch chinlock. Rude and Ice are really working the camel clutch well with Rude cheating and Percy distracting). Ice breaks it with an electric chair drop. Ice and Rude battle back and forth but Rude catches Ice and drops him throat first on the rope, Jumbo style to score the 2nd fall. - 3rd fall, big battle back and forth. Iceman gets the best of Rude so Percy gets on the mic, distracts Ice, Rude rams Ice in the back and hits Ice with the DDT to become the new American Champion. Really great, intense match. Slam Dunk from where I stand. Sunshine Interview – as she leaves, Missing Link grabs and corners her. Rick Rude and Percy Pringle are in the ring waiting for their interview and Missing Link attacks and picks Sunshine up and lets her out of the ring. Percy Pringle, Rick Rude & Missing Link Interview – This is set up for the Missing Link face turn. “Rude drops the “Sometimes it be’s that way”. However, this doesn’t hold a candle to the Iceman match. Unfortunately, there isn’t much work in and out of the holds and Rude finishes it with the DDT. Chris Adams (Masked) vs. Lance Von Erich - Pretty good match that ends with TV time running out. Oh well.
