Posted May 30, 201015 yr comment_5451425 McAdam A647 Disc 2 One Man Gang vs. Kerry Von Erich (Dallas) - Kerry rocks Gang early with the discus punches and Gang takes a Greg Valentine bump to the mat. Gang takes control with a front face lock allowing Kerry to break out with an armbar and Kerry goes for the claw. Kerry goes for a charge in the corner but hits the ringpost and has to regroup. Nice entrance to the ring by Kerry and a two count roll up on the Gang. Gang and Kerry battle outside and when they get inside Gang grabs his chain and chokes out Kerry. Wrestlers run from the back trying to get Kerry free. Fun but too short and not violent enough to make the cut. Terry Gordy, Michael Hayes & The Rebel (Buddy Roberts under a mask) vs. Dynamic Duo & Jake the Snake Roberts - The Birds control early on Adams, getting the shine. Nasty headbutt spot where Hayes rams Adams head into Gordy knocking Gordy on his ass. Adams comes back against Rebel, ties his arm in the ropes and the heels take over but Rebel fights back and tags Gordy. Gordy and Jake have a knee headbutt battle and it looks cooler than I described it. FUCK, a clip in the middle of the match. I can’t tell if it was a commercial clip but we miss about three minutes. - We come back with the heels pounding on Hayes in the corner. Shit looks like another clip. FUCK MCADAM!!! Fantastics Interview Billy Jack Haynes + Rip Oliver Confrontation – Haynes ends up covered in blood. EXTRA Rip Oliver vs. Kevin Von Erich - Oliver is gloating about hurting Haynes but can’t get into the ring before Kevin attacks him. FUCK, this is clipped up too. Kerry Von Erich vs. Chris Adams – Joined in Progress. Gang attacks Kerry in the end. Gary Hart Interview in his office Kevin Von Erich Interview – Hyping up Israel Dynamic Duo vs. Billy Jack Haynes & Kevin Von Erich - Already voted down Tommy Montana vs. Jerry Allen (Ft. Worth 1/26/86) (Star Wars) - Bleh match with Montana working the headlock and Allen working a front facelock. It heats up late in the match with some nearfalls but Allen hits Montana with a powerslam and the win. Bill Apter gives Mike Von Erich the PWI Most Inspirational Wrestler Award. EXTRA Chris Adams vs. Gino Hernandez (Ft. Worth 1/26/86) - Just a fight early on with Adams abusing Gino and Gino selling big. Adams misses a 2nd rope splash and Gino takes over. Shortly after, Gino goes to the top and misses an elbow drop and we go back to square one. After a double knock out, Gino attempts another move from the top, gets hit and ends up on the receiving end of a superkick, sending him outside. 5 minutes in and this is already action packed. Adams gets Gino back in, hits a clotheline and has the match but picks him up at two. Adams hits a piledriver and picks him up again. At this point, Gino recovers and blinds Adams in one of the most famous blinding angles of all time. I enjoyed the hell out of this match. We have included short matches before and this one has heavy history behind it. Nomination. Percy Pringle & Rick Rude Interview John Tatum & Missy Hyatt Interview Fabulous Freebirds Interview – Extra along with Brody Interview Jack Victory vs. Mark Youngblood – introduced but clipped out Sunshine Interview Bruiser Brody Interview – Extra along with Freebirds Interview Lance & Kerry Von Erich Interview Rick Rude & The Grappler vs. Iceman Parsons & Missing Link - Ice gets the better of Grappler early on. However, when Ice tags in Missing Link, he clears the ring and the crowd goes batshit. Order is restored but Ice gets a knee in the back so the heels can take over. Heels work over Ice but I am bored. Hot ending with Grappler loading the boot and inadvertently nailing Pringle. Ice rolls the Grappler up for three. Some fun stuff here but not even close to the Gino-Adams fight.
