Posted May 31, 201015 yr comment_5451466 Going over stuff I haven't seen. Texas Heavyweight Title: Brian Adias © vs. Jack Victory (10/6/85) Gary Hart was awesome here coaching Jack and Jack would have his moments but Adias pretty much controlled this and won with a spinning toehold that he wrenched in until Jack passed out. I liked the finish but the match was average. The Dynamic Duo ("Gentleman" Chris Adams & "Handsome Halfbreed" Gino Hernandez) vs. Brian Adias & Iceman King Parsons (11/1/85) The faces of course go for the masks and Adias got Gino's up real high almost to the top of his head but Adams would make the save. Adias works FIP and gets pounded on but he would get the hot tag to Iceman who gets control until eating the knees to the ribs as he tried a diving body press. Iceman would then get his turn as the FIP with the Duo taking turns working him over but would get the tag to Adias after Adams missed a splash off the top rope. Adias cleans house on the masked men before going for the spinning toehold on Gino who would get to the ropes so he could make the switch to Adams who caught Adias clean with the Superkick for the win. I liked this match and it was pretty fun but I think it's just a borderline nomination right now.
May 31, 201015 yr comment_5451467 I watched that Ice/Adias tag last night. It's the kind of match that would be ok if we were watching the shows week to week but it doesn't hold a candle to the Duo vs. VE boys including the matches I backed as a nomination and the one I didn't.
