Posted May 31, 201015 yr comment_5451478 This match was insane. Basically, it was another high-end tag between Footloose and the Can-Ams with badass superheavy Spivey and an ornery Tenryu thrown in for fun. I mean, bodies just flew all over for the whole 20 minutes. I won't even try to describe all the great spots. I'll just say I marked out so hard that I worried about losing my footing on the treadmill. This is a darkhorse candidate for my top 30-40. 1989 All Japan TV Disc 11

I am sad I left it off my Kawada set but more than worthy on the Tenryu set.
October 15, 201014 yr comment_5457236 Revolution (Ricky Fuyuki, Toshiaki Kawada, & Genichiro Tenryu) vs. The Can-Am Express (Doug Furnas & Dan Kroffat). & Danny Spivey (5/24/89) Footloose & Can-Ams are just now beginning their feud so they go balls out here giving us a preview of what's to come and then you have Spivey & Tenryu to bring the hard hitting offense. There was also a great crowd to boot giving this an extra little something to push it harder. There is lots of violence and high spots here and this definitely belongs on the set. Easy nomination.
