Posted June 2, 201015 yr comment_5451513 John Tatum vs. Scott Casey (Fort Worth) - Damn, Tatum is such an asshole. Casey is a guy who I like what I have seen but either a match is clipped or too short to really be able to evaluate him. After Casey contrls early, Tatum, goes to town and Missy is loving it. Of course, Casey comes right back and Tatum heads outside. Both guys throwing some nice punches and Tatum’s selling is top notch. Tatum and Casey battle back and forth mainly just punching each other in the face. Both get to hit a big move (Tatum’s piledriver and Casey’s bulldog) but neither are able to put the other away. While the match is going on, Missy and Sunshine have a catfight with Casey busted open. Man, this was pretty awesome. The catfight was a big enough deal that I can forgive the non-finish. Might not make the final cut but I want you to at least consider the match. I don't think this is the same match that Kris nominated according to the descriptions.
June 18, 201015 yr comment_5452148 Cowboy Scott Casey vs. "Hollywood" John Tatum (11/18/85) Casey dominates Tatum early who does a great job selling the beating and he has to deal with Missy as well who is pissed off until he turns the tide which makes her very happy. Tatum roughhouses Casey with punches forcing him to juice until Casey fires back with punches of his own. Casey would break out a piledriver for a nearfall but Tatum would get a nearfall of his own with a clothesline and a pompous cover. Casey would make a comeback and hit his bulldog headlock which brought Missy up to the apron to distract Casey so Sunshine jumps up and they have a catfight in the ring featuring Missy's shirt getting ripped off. The match was then ruled a no contest and that took away from the match but I think it should go to the decision phase.
June 22, 201015 yr comment_5452235 This wasn't as good as their other Ft. Worth match, even though that was a Tatum carryjob, whereas Casey largely held his own in this one. In fact, this may be the lesser match because of that, since Tatum's performance was somewhat restrained here by his standards. That's not to say this wasn't great in it's own right, though. Like I said, Casey gave a better performance here, throwing nice punches and having a boss piledriver. Also, Sunshine, whose work often got overshadowed by Missy's over-the-top antics, got to showcase her own talents a bit more here. I'll second this as a low-end nomination, though it may end up on the cutting room floor.
