A bunch of punching and choking and ref throwing until Gang grabs his chain and Kimala runs away. Jack Victory vs. Brian Adias - Just a match. Mike Von Erich’s doctor is in the audience. Adias gets the pin on a flying body press. Fritz Von Erich Operation Love N Care Commercial John Tatum vs. Scott Casey (Cage Match) - I know this is already in the doubt section but I really like this feud. I think I agree with the premise that the escape the cage stip hurts the match. There was some good stuff in there but they would stop pounding each other so they could attempt an escape. It didn’t help having Sunshine and Missy on the apron the entire time inside the cage. Not bad work but it was just a weird cage match. Kabuki lays Casey out after the match. Kevin & Kerry Von Erich vs. Dynamic Duo (Texas Tornado Cage Match) - Adias and Gordy are special ring enforcers. Early on, Kerry and Kevin both go after a mask. The Duo is pissed off because the Enforcers are doing a half-assed job stopping the Von erichs from going after the masks. A lot of faces ramming into the cage. I can’t believe there hasn’t been any blood yet. Adais gets leveled by Gordy because Gordy tries to stop the VEs from ripping off the masks and Adias wants to let it continue. Manning come into the ring and the enforcers are removed. And Adams gets his mask removed but the cost for the Von Erichs was a superkick to Kevin’s head and a mark in the loss column. I love how the Von Erich’s desperation to remove the masks yielded the initial reward but cost them the tag team gold. However, after the match, they get Gino’s mask off as well as a consolation prize. Some bad camera work will hurt the match in rankings but it goes on. NOMINATION Gary Hart, One Man Gang & Killer Tim Brooks Interview Chris Adams vs. Kabuki (Fort Worth) - Seen it. NOMINATION Kerry & Kevin Von Erich Interview Gino Hernandez Interview Jim Powers Interview Jack Victory vs. Scott Casey - Seen It Fantastics vs. Rip Oliver & Kelly Kiniski (2/3 Falls) (Fort Worth) - With the Fantastics, you usually know what you are getting. During the shine, you’ll get some slick double teams. Usually, the difference is what the opponents bring to the table and which Fantastic ends up as FIP. First fall goes to the Fantastics after the heels are disqualified from coming off the top rope. 2nd fall, Oliver keeps Rogers grounded with a chinlock but not much going on. Eventually, the Fans hit an assisted sunset flip for the pin. I think I have seen this match before but it isn’t a nomination either way. The heels did nothing to really distinguish this match form any other generic Fantastics match. Chris Adams Interview Iceman Parsons Interview Sunshine Interview Kevin & Kerry Von Erich vs. Dynamic Duo (Anything Goes) - Really awesome start with both teams getting nearfalls and breaking up pins. It slowed down in the middle with some sleepers but then Kerry got thrown out on the floor and these guys picked up the violence. Adams and Kerry are in the zone in this match. Really, Gino and Kevin have just been props in the Kerry-Adams war. As the match progresses, Manning gets hit and ends up in the ropes Cactus style. Of course, this is a great match with Hazard making the pin after Kerry gets the powder and they do the assisted superkick on Kevin. Jim Cornette & Sunshine interrupted by Chris Adams
