Posted June 3, 201015 yr comment_5451548 Rick Rude, One Man Gang & Kabuki vs. Chris Adams, Kevin & Lance Von Erich (Fort Worth) - Pretty fun brawl with the heels looking pretty good. Lance Von Erich was threatening to end the nomination with some suck but Gang said “Fuck This” hooks his head and carries him to the corner. Rude had some nice offense throughout and there were a couple of pier six brawls to keep it fun. Ending had Gang wrap his fist in the chain to use on Kevin only to get a SWEET superkick form Adams to end it. This was really fun. Nomination. McAdam 2213 Disc 1
June 18, 201015 yr comment_5452152 "Gentleman" Chris Adams, Kevin & Lance Von Erich vs. The Great Kabuki, One Man Gang, & "Ravishing" Rick Rude (5/26/86) Rude is wearing some nice gold tights here that I'm sure made Kabuki jealous. I loved Kevin working his way up Rude's body to get a flying headscissors at the start of the match. Lance came in and got his ass kicked by all the heels before tagging Kevin back in who was motivated here but he would get worked over by the heels as well before getting the tag to Lance who was fired up until Gang clubbed him in the head and got the control back for the heels. Adams would finally tag in and the 6-way brawl would start both inside and outside the ring until Kabuki & Adams were alone in the ring and Kabuki went for the bad left eye. Adams would make his own comeback though and tagged in Kevin who would end up getting the iron claw on the Gang before another brawl broke out which ended up with Gang getting his chain and wrapping it around his fist but Adams would nuke him with a Superkick then put Kevin on top for the pin. This was a very solid match and definitely moves forward.
June 21, 201015 yr comment_5452199 I think I might have liked this match even more than you guys did. Some awkwardness from Lance aside, everyone came to play in a dramatic match with three great FIP sections that all ruled in their own way and tons of great individual moments, including the amazing finish and the post-match formal reunion of Kevin and Adams, which was one of the best single moments on any of these discs. A slam dunk inclusion.
