Chris Adams vs. Matt Borne (Fort Worth) - Chris is fighting with the patch and Borne attacks as it spills outside. Bonre gets rammed into the ringpost and when they get inside, Adams returns the favor and throws Borne out. Shit, Adams smacks a chair over Borne’s head. Once it settles down, Adams works a headlock with Borne trying to escape only to get hooked again. A Nice belly-to-belly from Borne switches the momentum. Borne was executing some nice offense before slowing it down again with a chinlock. Adams fights back but ends up outside again. Man, I want to love this match but some of the execution is awkward and Borne’s chinlock isn’t helping matters. They end up outside again and Brone ends up wrapped around some wire. Shit, these guys should have a falls count anywhere match where they stay outside the ring. The stretch run was pretty hot however time limit expires. I can’t in good faith give this a nomination and I love both guys. Gary Hart + David Manning – confrontation about Abby’s suspension Buck Zumhofe vs. Blackjack Mulligan - Extended squash and the crowd doesn’t give a shit Matt Borne Interview Kerry Von Erich, Lance Von Erich & Chris Adams Interview Raven Interview Jerry Allen & The Grappler vs. Batten Twins (Fort Worth) - Fun heel miscommunication spot early on with Grappler and Allen colliding after a running the rope, drop down spot. Really good tag work early on. Very entertaining. The Battens win the 1st fall with a double Russian legsweep. So far, so good. Shit, we only get the first fall. This was on its way to a nomination. Rick Rude & Blackjack Mulligan Interview Batten Twins Interview Rick Rude, One Man Gang & Kabuki vs. Chris Adams, Kevin & Lance Von Erich (Fort Worth) - Pretty fun brawl with the heels looking pretty good. Lance Von Erich was threatening to end the nomination with some suck but Gang said “Fuck This” hooks his head and carries him to the corner. Rude had some nice offense throughout and there were a couple of pier six brawls to keep it fun. Ending had Gang wrap his fist in the chain to use on Kevin only to get a SWEET superkick form Adams to end it. This was really fun. Nomination.
