Posted June 3, 201015 yr comment_5451573 John Tatum vs. Kevin Von Erich (Fort Worth) - If they clip this, I am going to freak. Punching contest to start and Kevin hits some nice offense early with a sweet dropkick and controls with his head scissors takedown. After Kevin controls and Tatum regroups, Tatum continues doing his shtick and Missy is still pouting and complaining and I am still not tired of their act. Very similar to the Ice match with Kevin knocking Tatum with dropkicks and Tatum going outside. However, Tatum picks his spot and controls until Kevin hits a 2nd rope dropkick. Kevin gets sidetracked by Missy and Tatum POUNDs on Kevin for touching his girl. However, Tatum misses a body press and Kevin gets the three. Tatum holds Kevin so Missy can slap him but Kevin ducks and John gets nailed instead. You guys are going to have to sift through the John Tatum matches because I could write a play on Missy and Tatum’s act and how awesome it is. I have lost all objectivity. June 4, 201015 yr comment_5451592 Kevin Von Erich vs. "Hollywood" John Tatum (3/3/86) This was an interesting matchup as Tatum was total chickenshit heel here as usual unlike the other heels that Kevin was working at the time so Kevin got to do his headscissors spots and a sweet standing dropkick. Tatum of course bumps and sells like a madman here and Missy would get involved as she slapped Kevin as he had Tatum pinned which allowed him to get the best of Kevin but not for long as Kevin got a sunset flip for the win. Short but fun little match that I wish could've been longer. I'm iffy on this one so I will lean slightly yes.
June 22, 201015 yr comment_5452221 This was an amazing display of Tatum and Missy's shtick and Kevin's mad hops, but Kevin dominated practically the whole thing save for those three seconds that Tatum was beating on him after Missy's interference. I don't think I can really support this as a nomination in good conscience, though it is a slam dunk extra.
