Posted June 4, 201015 yr comment_5451597 McAdam 2152 Disc 3 Percy Pringle Interview Buzz Sawyer Interview Kevin Von Erich Interview Matt Borne, Rick Rude & Blackjack Mulligan vs. Bruiser Brody, Kevin & Lance Von Erich (Fort Worth) - These guys were energetic and trying but it just came across as a mess. Kevin and Blackjack lock claws on each other and Brody clears the ring with a chair resulting in a DQ. Dingo Warrior vs. Mark Youngblood (Fort Worth) - This went on way too long for these guys. Dingo shows off his power throughout and he is lost most of the time. AWA Brody Battle Royale (Fort Worth) Rick Rude & Kabuki vs. Steve Simpson & Chris Adams (Dallas) - Kabuki and Simpson had a really nice opening sequence. Kabuki tries to counter the armbar but Simpson holds on. One of the clichés I am quickly getting tired of in tag matches is the armbar into axehandle into armbar. Rude executes his nice offense and the thing I hate about heel Kabuki… the friggin nerve hold. It ends quickly though as Adams comes in like a house of fire. Now I can get behind the Kabuki chops. After a brawl breaks out, Pringle accidentally nails Kabuki with the cane and he gets pinned. I am in the middle of SLL and Kris. I think the Kabuki-Rude tag I nominated earlier was better. I wouldn’t oppose it being on the set but I wouldn’t fight for it either. Kerry Von Erich in the hospital Kevin Von Erich vs. Matt Borne (Dallas) - Decent match but nothing really memorable until Kevin hooks on the claw and Buzz comes running in for the DQ. Blackjack Mulligan – Bruiser Brody Confrontation - Seen it Chris Adams vs. Mike Scott - Adams takes his time disposing of Scott Chris Adams Interview Bruiser Brody Interview Buzz Sawyer & Matt Borne Interview Gary Hart – Chris Adams Confrontation Rick Rude Interview Battle Royale (Fort Worth) - Seen It Buzz Sawyer, Matt Borne & Kabuki vs. Bruiser Brody, Lance Von Erich & Steve Simpson - The heels tried to make Brody the FIP but that doesn’t bode well. Brody tags in Simpson and he is better at getting his ass kicked. Nice sequence as Buzz leapfrogs Simpson, taunts the crowd, turns and gets nailed with a dropkick and lands on the outside. Sawyer does all of his signature moves here with running into the ringpost, biting the guy in the face. Borne is absolutely vicious in his attack on Simpson. He gives him a snap belly-to-belly followed by a deathdrop driver five years beforeDoc would do it. Simpson tries to fight back but the heels keep cutting him off. He finally tags Lance after Buzz misses from the rope. A brawl breaks out, Lance rolls Sawyer up but Borne clotheslines Lance with a chain for the heels to pick up the win.
