Posted June 5, 201015 yr comment_5451639 Scott Casey vs. Master G (12/8/86) This is JIP and they battle in and out of the ring and this goes to a draw. Gary Hart comes out in a fucking awesome leather trenchcoat style jacket talking about the upcoming Brody/Abby loser leaves town match on Christmas night. Atlas would come out wanting to face Abby so Brody would come out to put his two cents in which sent Hart scurrying out of the ring. Lowrance would then be joined in the ring by almost every babyface in the promotion for promos. Plus an incoherant promo from Kerry & Mike Von Erich. Black Bart vs. Bruiser Brody (12/8/86) Brody wanted to wrestle here and he spent most of the match working holds on Bart but eventually Bart would turn the aggression up with Brody obliging. Bart would bring in the branding iron with Brody stealing it from him and he got DQed. This could've been a whole lot better. Then Lowrance gets to interview all the heels in the promotion. "Maniac" Matt Borne vs. Steve Simpson (12/8/86) I love Borne holding Simpson's hair so he can punch him. This would be a pretty fun back and forth match with Borne being solid and Simpson showing fire with some nearfall attempts. Simpson would get an O'Connor Roll on Borne but he would cut it back using the tights to get the win. Good match and close to a nomination but falling just short. "Black Superman" Tony Atlas vs. Master G (12/8/86) Master G is working double duty as Atlas was supposed to work Abby but he wasn't here. This match was pretty horrible including a botched finish that is indescribable. Crusher Yurkov vs. Mark Youngblood (12/8/86) This was another fair match. Kevin & Mike Von Erich comes out with a beautiful painting of the Von Erich family showing it off to the fans. I've already seen this and the upcoming aftermath but it's in full here. Al Madril vs. Steve Simpson (12/15/86) Madril heels it up here by cheating left and right in the ring then choking Simpson with the mic cord on the floor and this is all a setup of what is to come. Simpson yet again shows some fire and doesn't go down without a fight but Madril would cheat to win then went for the painting which he of course shattered with the painting sure looking like paper when it gets broken. The angle is a definite extra for sure. Kevin then cuts an angry promo about the painting and challenges Madril to a match immediately followed up by promos by Casey, Dingo, Atlas, & Brody. Bruiser Brody vs. Killer Brooks (12/15/86) This was your normal Brody style match and he wins clean with the big boot. Then we get promos by Black Bart, Percy Pringle & Matt Borne which was racially charged towards Tony Atlas, Adias & Madril, & Gary Hart.
