Posted June 13, 201015 yr comment_5451902 Continental Heavyweight Title: Jerry Stubbs © vs. Brad Armstrong (6/23/86) Stubbs makes sure early that Armstrong doesn't get the advantage and slows the pace down to his level doing what he had to do to also. Stubbs would pound Brad's head on the metal part holding the top rope to the post which caused him to juice giving Stubbs an extra motivation to work on that cut. Stubbs holding Brad by the hair and headbutting him 4 times was great but Brad would still fight back even covered in blood. Stubbs would get a nearfall after hitting him with a diving clothesline off the middle rope and as this happened Frankie Lancaster in a neckbrace distracted Stubbs and Brad would lock him in an inside cradle to get the win. Stubbs would tee off on Lancaster after the match but Brad would run him off with a steel chair. This went about 9 1/2 minutes and was very fun and yeah I would've liked a full Brad comeback but the angle made sense and this is still a nomination.
