Posted February 23, 200818 yr comment_5428471 Stan Hansen & Ole Anderson vs. Jack & Jerry Brisco (2/28/82 in Atlanta GA) - From the start, the heels gain the advantage and concentrate on Jack’s stomach and back. Jack is FIP and eventually makes the hot tag. Jerry gets abused for a couple of minutes before tagging Jack in who tries to get a Figure-4 on. In the end, Hansen hits Jack with the Lariat allowing Ole to get the pin. Man, I can’t really fault any of the guys here as all four worked really hard. There were some awkward spots and you can’t hear the crowd so I don’t know if they were dead or if it is the voice-over. I’ll nominate it anyway. (AJC 67)
June 30, 201015 yr comment_5452585 NWA World Tag Titles Tournament (Atlanta Bracket) - Finals: Ole Anderson & Stan "The Lariat" Hansen vs. Jack & Jerry Brisco (2/28/82) Jerry gets his ass kicked to start with Hansen working an stomach claw no less before Ole comes in and Jerry tags in Jack with both Ole & Stan working him over with a bearhug. The heels then really pound on Jack mainly working on his back until he gets the tag to Jerry who comes in blazing throwing left hands and starts working over Ole's right leg trying to get the figure-four which Ole would fight out of before going to work on Jerry's left arm in the Anderson style. Jerry would fight back punching Ole's left leg before getting the hot tag to Jack who fought off both heels separately before a 4-way brawl would break out with Hansen giving Jack a short lariat as Jerry had Scrappy McGowan distracted and Ole got the pin. I agree with Will as these guys worked hard especially after working twice already that night and this moves forward.
January 14, 201214 yr comment_5492309 This was a match that didn't really click with me. I thought the guys worked hard, but the end result was just an ok match. With the talent level I was expecting more. Maybe the dynamic didn't work for me.
