Also they show Lawler burning Eddie Gilbert, and a super creepy interview from a burned Eddie threatening Lawlers mother and close friends. This show also has the beginnings of setting up the Lawler v. Hennig retirement v. AWA title match

Jeff Jarrett makes the save but Gary Young attacks him but Billy Travis evens the odds. Jarrett & Travis would come back out for a promo about the situation and Marlin wanting a cowboy boot match.

We start with clips of Lawler/Hennig from MSC on 4/4/88 as Hennig is trying the collect the $25,000 bounty that Gilbert has on his head. Lawler would piledrive Scotty the Body as he would try to interfere then Gilbert under a hood would come out putting Lawler out with ether.

 

Scotty would come out in a neckbrace saying that he got paid with a date with Missy Hyatt but he can’t get it until he beats Lawler.

Brickhouse comes out cutting a promo on Brandi.
